Altitrak
How high did it really go? Next time measure it with this easy to use device.
Utilizes the same principal that navigators have long used to determine their location -
angle of rise above the horizon. Very simple to operate. Simply follow the
rocket in the sights until it reaches apogee, then release the trigger to lock in the
reading. Easy-to-read display gives you not only the angle of elevation, but the
altitude in meters. Use two Altitrak for greater accuracy. Great for school
and science projects. Use it to measure the effect of different engines.
No. UR275-AT. Only $21.79 |

Transrock Rocket Locator
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
It's great to talk about the fun that rockets are to build and to fly, but the best
stories are about how you tried to find the rocket after the flight. Of course,
streamers and parachutes help, but when soaring to over a thousand feet, all it takes it a
good gust of wind to blow your rocket across a few cow pastures. Then it's time to
get everyone out looking for it. Finally, a solution. The Transrock consists
of a tiny on-board sonic unit that fits in any 3/4" or larger body tube.
It
emits a high pitched tone to aid in recovery. Use the directional locating device
with the included headphone to make finding your rocket a breeze. Requires one 9 volt
battery and one 6 bolt battery (not included).
